After a bit of a stomach bug this week and sleeping 12h last night to recover I got up this morning and felt capable of doing my run.

It went slower than previous ones and after stretching I could feel a tenderness in my shins so I think I was running a bit heavy. Wasn’t as exhilarated when I finished as I have felt other times. A couple of hours have now passed and I feel much better however.

On to the next one, I suppose!

I ran week 7 run 2 this morning and felt the same. If you’re anything like me you have runs where you come home and punch the air almost because you can’t believe how well you’ve done and others like today where you feel meh 😕 The important thing is to have your rest day/S and then get back out on the next run. Maybe change your route or music. It works for me after a run like that. Good luck and keep going! I’ve no doubt you’re doing a great job! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️👍💪😁

That’s so helpful I really appreciate the suggestions and learning that it is natural to have ups and downs is a comfort. Thank you! Best of luck with the next couple of weeks to you!!
