So just finished W2R2 with a bit of a harsh lesson, set out at my usual pace, (very windy day - found it a bit harder to judge pace for some reason) completed the first couple of runs.
1st one seemed longer than 90 seconds this time, but was fine with it. At of the second run when Laura was talking about breathing noticed I was probably about 50-100m further on than last time. No biggie I thought, but ended up making quite a difference to the last runs...
Pretty much all of them were at an incline (wont say hills as we do have some real hills around here), first being reasonably steep starting on steps in the park. After the 4th run ending on a hill realized it was gonna take me a bit longer to recover, so dropped the pace a bit of the walks and the run.
5th run thankfully was mostly flat/decline, so dropped the pace a few notches and felt myself recovering whilst I was still running, so think I saved it there. Last run again was uphill but the previous recovery got me through it fine luckily.
I find it difficult at times because whilst I don't get overly out of breath, when I do push it a bit too much I start to feel the start of acid gurgles. Pretty sure this is what bombed me out of CT5K a couple of years back, because fitness wise I felt ok with it, but the acid gave me a nightmare last run that time, and I failed to recover.
Still not sure what causes the acid when I run, I rarely suffer with it during the day, I've changed my diet, drink plenty of water(and take a bottle with me) but feel like the only way I can control it when running is looking out for the symptoms.
I also try to keep running as "flat" as possible (remembering what Laura said last time around about watching someones head above a hedge and not being able to tell by their "head bob" if they're running/walking)
Even wondered if its linked to heartrate - generally warm up I'm at about 100, runs 160-180 (occasional weird peak at 200, but could be my band) and in between walks I'm at about 125-130 which I guess are all pretty high.

Anyway, lesson learnt and won't moan as it's another one checked off and still feel confident I'll be fine going through to W3
