I was a couple of days behind schedule when I ran this yesterday evening - I was supposed to do it on Saturday but the weekend ended up being quite a busy one. After a sleepless night on Sunday and struggling through work knackered yesterday I was not in any positive frame of mind at all. But as I'm busy this evening after work I knew if I didn't do the run yesterday it wouldn't get done until Wednesday.
"It's only half an hour" I told myself. I could have it done before dinner, I'd be taking today as a rest day anyway, and I've lost an inch off my waist already - think about that!
So I did it.
I had found the second run of Week 1 the toughest of that week so I was a bit concerned I'd feel the same about the second run of Week 2, but to be honest, even feeling as tired as I was yesterday, it was tough but not any tougher than any of the other runs.
I'm glad I ended up doing it after all and and aiming to complete Week 2 on wednesday!
