W3r1 in the bag

I did this run with my other half and it is great having someone to spur you on - we are doing the same runs. So I have learnt the following: I can run (slowly) for 3 minutes without needing medical attention. I can even have a conversation when I walk afterwards. I like running in the rain. My shins hurt less when I run on grass, although it also feels slightly heavier. I much prefer running when I listen to music. And final lesson: whether it is just psychological or not, I feel better for doing this. 😁🌧🤸‍♂️

Definitely well done!

This is a step up and you've managed it. I have found that I enjoy music as well now that the runs last longer.

Once the programme is complete, I'll work out playlists...

I have only ever run solo. I bet it is nice to have a partner.

It is nice to have a running partner. Different time schedules mean we can only run together once a week so we just synchronise the other days - as in ‘it is Tuesday today so we need to get our runs done’ - just at different times

Well done! It does feel good, doesn't it? My shins used to hurt during those early weeks, so maybe it's just a weakness. Keep up the good work, you will be amazed at how quickly your fitness improves.
