After my holiday injury on W9R1, and no running for 3 weeks, I consulted a physiotherapist and after confirming that no DVT was involved (long haul flight), she started treatment on my leg. After a massage I had a practice run on the treadmill (1 1/2 minutes run, 1 minute walk). I now need to repeat that run outside and increase my running time as the pain reduces. For my first run I used the app and did W2R1 and today I did W3R1. Both runs were fine. I am swimming 4 to 5 times a week to keep my fitness level where it should be. I am hopeful now that by re working my way through the app and listening to the Physio, I will be able to finish the program and do the Race for Life that I signed up for weeks ago. Still frustrating though!
