Well, finally, yesterday after NINE weeks (Gosh, some folk will have started and graduated in that time) on the injury couch with a torn calf muscle sustained in W5 R1 I bravely donned my running clothes and went out feeling very self conscious and did W1R1 again!!! The 8 X one minute runs seemed short which was good, and my bad leg coped though it was heavy and tight, all the way through and I had to rest and ice it after. It may be a bit too soon but I want to get back to the running,,, have missed it!! Suffering a bit today though - may need a few rest days!

Yes am going to. I will also stop if I get any sharp pains during a session - learned that the hard way!

Oh, Hilary, so glad you have made it out there again! Take it steady...I had a couple of false starts after my calf tear. Great that you can finally begin to run again and start to build that strength up once more. Fingers crossed for you!
Lovely to see you back again Hilary! In your last post you sounded so despondent......really pleased that you are out running again and well done for completing the first run.
