I did it!! I feel so proud, amazing how what may seem like a small accomplishment can have such a big impact on how you feel and the sense of achievement.
The first 10 mins was fine, slow and steady (thanks Oldfloss) found a couple of mins as I hit 15 mins quite difficult and then into the last five mins quite hard going but tried to kick a little bit in the last two mins but couldn't muster any pace by then so settled for completion.
Body stood up really well , breathing a bit strained in the last 5.
So happy, can't stop grinning.
Wishing all happy running and especially W5'ers, you really can do the 20 mins, good luck and make sure you post. You'll be great!!

Thanks Soz. I think this programme should be compulsory as part of life but the programme is only part of it, this forum and people like you that encourage other's is what makes it a success.
Oh well done lou!! Lucky we're not in the same room we'd look like a couple of cheshire cats, my mouth is getting sore from smiling. Bring on W6, we've got this, mind you I have been reading that W6R1 can trip people up so I will come back down from this mini high and face reality again tomorrow
Well done! It really is a great feeling to know what one can do. That is the result of your hard work and persistence, so yes, you really should be proud!
Thank you Bluebird. Yes it is and although I know there is still a lot of work to do finishing the programme successfully sort of feels more achievable after that run
