I was the same last week! Felt great after I did it....awful for the first couple of runs.
Yesterday I did day 1 of week 2 and thought I'd never step up to 90 seconds as I still felt the 60 was a struggle. Amazing how I did it actually and each run got easier.
I find concentrating on breathing helps me....and also thinking of anything other than waiting for that little voice telling you it's time to slow down again haha! Keep going!π
Mrmeaker I also find the voice really helpful. But I did find myself begging it to tell me to walk π. I have mine set on Jo Whiley on the app I'm using. I did get a little cross on the last run when she said ' right this is your last run so really put your heart and legs into it '!......I was knackered at this point and actually swore out loud at her ππ. Just as well nobody was around lol.
Nice one mate! Completed my first run yesterday, used to run about 12 miles weekly but haven't gotten out there in a few years so found this was a perfect way to get back into it. Good luck with the rest of your journey!
Well done to you too chap! Iβve been energised and enjoyed today because of the run today. Hope you are feeling great as well and good luck for day 2 tomorrow.
