Week 3 run 1 - done!

I'm still not sure exactly sure what is happening to me and my body! If anyone had said to me 3 weeks ago that I would be running for 3 minutes non stop and enjoying it, I would have driven them straight to the doctor to be checked out!

Well....6am and all was calm, lovely temperature and the cat did a double take as I strode past him with ease. The experience was great, Laura as always was a calming influence and I listened to her intently without feeling the need to take a sneaky peek at the screen to see how much time was left.

I'm not getting too excited and certainly not being complacent, but the fact remains that I am enjoying myself and really looking forwards to Tuesday when I get to do it all over again :)

It sounds like you have caught the running bug too. I warn you that the next stage is drooling over running clothes and gadgets:)

I've just finished W3 and it was hard! Not looking forward to W4 to be honest.

I too am shocked at being able to do it at all, and i now seem to be buying more and more running gear... including some lovely bright short shorts!

I may just pass on the lovely bright short shorts - trying to avoid attention to myself!
