First post graduation run. Torrential rain and snail dodging 😁

What a run! I promised myself 2 days rest after graduating and was itching to get out. The weather wasn't great but there's no way I was staying in. I did a completely different route today, more hills. Started out with my daughter in light rain, and had a casual jog and chat with her, by the time we got 5 minutes in the heavens opened!! Snails were everywhere! 🐌 We got back home absolutely soaked wet through. I absolutely loved it though, even did a bit of dancing much to my daughters amusement as there was no one about. Upped my speed for the last 10 mins and felt fantastic! 😊😁

I love running in the rain! Much rather that than overheating!

Brilliant!! Welcome to post grad freedom! Do a little, do a lot, just increase slowly (if you’re interested in increasing)... personally, I added 1 minute into every run until I reached my magic 5K👍

Good luck with the snail dodging!🐌 🤣🤣🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Well done Mand102, you make it sound like so much fun! I did my 1st run yesterday. Wasn’t sure what to call it W10R1 😀! Just added 3 minutes on!
