I can’t quite believe I’ve done this! Graduated at my local ParkRun today in the beautiful sunshine!

Thank you everyone for your support throughout; this is the best forum and program ever! I’ve even made some friends along the way.😌!

So what next? 🤔 A charity 5k in July, bridge to 10k and a 10k in September I hope! Wish I’d done this years ago!

To anyone who is in any doubt about doing this - just do it! I said at the start, if I can do it ANYONE CAN! Running is good for the soul.

Arrgh, can't believe I missed this yesterday! I'm getting rubbish at remembering when folk are due to graduate!

Many, many congratulations, thoroughly deserved! It's weird isn't it, the start of the programme seems soooo far away and then you look at the calendar and go "Wait, no, I've done it THIS quick?"

Well done on the Park Run too - you're ahead of me on that one. Think I would have to be massively talked into that!

I will keep going at 30 mins, maybe increase to 35 or 40 over a few weeks - I am nowhere near the 5k distance, so I will try to run further in 30 mins, but also aim towards 5k. Hopefully I will get a bit faster and run for a bit longer each week! I'm on hol in India from Wednesday so running won't. be my focus so the regime will start when I get back. Are you close to the 5k?

I can do 5k but I’m at 35 mins. I do ParkRun each week and only managed to complete it at the end of week 8 with mammoth effort! Enjoy your hols!
