Well itβs done my c25k journey is finished and to say itβs been all pleasure would be a lie. Iβve cried, Iβve laughed and Iβve swore a little bit too but itβs been worth every second.
Sounds sad and corny but this is one of the only things Iβve ever actually done and followed to the end without quitting. Itβs making me fitter, Iβm sleeping better, I have more energy, more time to think about things and I generally feel a lot calmer.
Must say a big thank you to all the other members, graduates, mentors and administrators who provide lots of encouragement, great advice and support. Itβs an amazing community and canβt quite believe Iβm saying this but almost wish I could do it all again ππ½ββοΈππ»
For anyone starting this journey good luck itβs the best thing Iβve done in years and itβs a cliche but if I can do it anyone can and I truly mean that.

Thanks Deb xx going to try and push on with the bridge to 10K now and see how I get on but whatever else happens Iβve succeeded in this πππ» Xx
Fantastic achievement and just the beginning of your running career by the sounds of it with your next challenge already lined up. ππͺπ»ππ»ββοΈ
Brilliant! Very well done, you should be so proud. I love your photo, you look so chuffed! I have 2 runs left, canβt wait to be in your position π
Thank you xx good luck with the last two runs and donβt forget to post a picture of you sporting a big grin at the end of run 3 πππ»ππ½ββοΈ Xx
Thank you Gill xx your right quite a few of us who have shared this journey are around graduation mark. Wish we could all meet up for a celebration as it feels worthy of it. Thank you for all your support and encouragement. Xx
Thank you Kez xx I hope to yes as this started out with me signing up for Cardiff half in October. But not sure if thatβs achievable or not but Iβm goinh to push and do as much as I can this month and then see if the twelve week programme is doable. Iβm not going to worry if itβs not as Iβll defer it to next year as thatβs still my goal. How about you? Xx
Thank you Cazzy ππ» You can do this trust me. My hubby and I started doing video diaries every run from about week 4 and they spurred me on and helped massively. I have kept them all and itβs also nice looking back and seeing how worried I was about 8 minutes etc. Also as I need to lose weight itβs been good to see my chins slowly decrease ππ»π but Iβve found them quite therapeutic too.
But you can do this and this community will keep you going. Good luck with run 3 youβve nearly got week one in the bag πππ»ππ½ββοΈ Xx
No just used iPhone but been big help and been nice to look back and see how progress is going ππ» Plus itβs recorded me at my lows and highs so nice to record journey π
Congratulations JoBC, you look so happy in that photo, I bet that is one of the best things you have done in your life, yes, you deserve a medal. A few weeks yet before I get to run 3 of week 9, this morning I completed run 2 of week 7
Thank you π your right it definitely is one of the best things Iβve done. Itβs been such a positive experience. Well done you ππ» Only two more weeks to go and you will be in same boat. Keep going and happy running and donβt forget to post your week 3 run 9 smiling picture too πππ» Xx
