If anyone is doubting whether this one is possible, I can say it is. I’ve done no exercise for years, I’m in my mid 50s and I’m about 4 stone overweight. But I’ve done it. So can you!

Enjoy your journey.
Congratulations Headmaster5 on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K. Onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks 🚶 and runs 🏃
BTW, are you a headmaster?
I am!
Very good, there are many school teachers who have reported their progress here on C25K but I think you are the first headmaster or as they are called where I am in Scotland the Head teacher. There are a few schools which have started their school PE based on the C25K training program.
By the way your advice about w6r1 was very wise. I barely made it this morning! I’d recommend two clear days after w5r3. Now, where’s my oxygen..
When I was doing C25K I kept to the same three days a week, that way there were always two days rest at some time during the week, my running days were on a Wednesday, Saturday and Monday, so the two days off running were Thursday and Friday, looking back that means when I ran run 3 of week 5 on a Monday I only had one day before week 6, run 1 which I ran very slow and steady the following Wednesday.
Great stuff! I’m a couple of weeks behind you. Hope I’ll be able to smash it too!
It’s amazing how it pushes you, then consolidates your work. Absolutely staggering progress you make, and how in a relatively short space of time it turns our health and fitness around (I’m very similar age and excess weight story to you). A minor miracle!
