I was so not feeling this today! I found W2R1 very hard but wow I did it again!! I am feeling very anxious about W3 though! I am really struggling and im not sure I can run for 3 mins! Does it really just happen like that? I run left of week 2 and what a beautiful day today was! 🙂

I’m thinking the same and trying not to read the posts of people further ahead because I don’t want to see how long they ran for in case it puts me off - I can’t imagine being able to run for 3 or 5 mins without clock watching - I need to try to count tracks on my music or something to estimate how far along I am - how do other people do it?

Don’t worry or look too far ahead - just focus on the run your doing, it will all come naturally. Trust the programme. I’m an overweight, unfit almost 50, working mum of three and I have astounded myself!! Never ran before - ever! Good luck and use this forum to gather your own group of personal cheerleaders!! It makes such a difference! 👏👏👏

I'm doing that run tomorrow. Ok am am habitual worrier, but I'm trying to focus on just the next run. That is the basis of the walk and run intervals; bite size chunks to build you up.

Good luck and keep us posted.

It’s hard but you know how you found 90 seconds impossible and now it isn’t? That’s how you will feel about 3 minutes next week! The whole programme makes you face a challenge that seems impossible each week.

Just keep it slow and be determined and remember to keep breathing and swing your arms to help!

You can do it x

I've just done W3 run 2..and am amazed how much I enjoyed it. Run 1 wasn't great but so much better today. I was worried too..but now looking forward to W4 And I'm going to buy some proper running shoes today. Don't worry..go with it and you'll be fine 😊

We do a circuit of a lake at Stanwick. Normally we do one and a half times round for C25K. We would then walk back to the car. We are also on Wk3 and after the last run, we do the three minute walk then run back to the car. Keep the speed slow (Snails overtook us!) Don't bob up and down and breath regularly. Were we apprehensive about Wk3? Yep, but we needn't have worried. Good luck as you go through the weeks

It really does just happen like that! Trust in the program it's amazing. I have always just taken it slowly, it's not the distance that matters, it's the fantastic feeling you get . Be proud of yourself hope it's a nice day for your next run too 🌻

Frankly I’ve amazed myself. Just go with the programme. I’m only a week ahead of you and I cannot imagine running for 5 mins but two weeks ago I couldn’t imagine 3 mins so who knows. If it takes a little longer so be it
