W2R2 knee pain

Found this run somewhat tougher today? My legs felt very 'stiff'. My left knee hurts on the inside under the knee cap more tonight and I slightly stumbled on my last run, off the kerb, so my right ankle feels stiffer too! Feeling unbalanced really? Still I loved it though! Just hope Sunday is going to be back to feeling better. 🏃‍♀️

I used to suffer from knee pain due to an old motorcycling injury, I've found that taking a glucosamine and cod liver oil capsule every morning has helped immensely and (touching the nearest bit of wood) I haven't had any joint pain since starting C25K. Hope this helps a little.

Oh yes! What a good idea, a little lubrication for the old creaky joints is more than likely what I need, I'll give em a go! Nothing to lose! Thank you.

Try icing your knee and stretch off after your run. If it is still sore leave an extra rest day between runs as you don’t want to make it worse. I hope it’s soon better

Thank you, I will. 👍

Drink more water than you usually do, even on days that you don't run.

It take it you are stretching before and after too.

If you look for the strength and flex forum on here you might find some exercises there to strengthen your knees.

I hope the pain doesn't stick around and you are ready for your next run.

Take care 😀 👍
