Feeling really pleased with myself if I am honest. I was worried about the increase in running time from week 1 to week 2 but so far I have found it OK and achievable.
As recommended I am taking it slowly although my Fitbit is showing that my average pace is slowly increasing (which is good since it doesn't actually feel that way to me). I can actually say that I am not hating every step anymore.....but not exactly enjoying it!
Reading all the support on here is really motivational.....so thank you.

I feel exactly the same, I have just completed the first run of week two and I was quite nervous but I’m not as tired as I was this time last week! Let’s hope this continues! I’d like a fit bit to monitor things, which one have you got?
I have a Fitbit blaze but also use a Huawei band which is much cheaper and does the same thing. I am pretty sure you can just use an app on your phone toggle the same information.
Good luck with the rest of week 2.....look forward to reading how you get on
Early days are tougher days I honestly did not think I would get past week 4 when I started. Heck - day one week one had me almost collapsing.
Just take it easy, keep in mind that less than ten percent actually finish in nine weeks or get to 5K distance at graduation - there is no rush, keep it fun and soon you too will be telling the new runners not to be apprehensive of any of the time increases
