I’m due to do W1R2 after work but I’ve got butterflies and I’m feeling really nervous about it! Still aching from run 1! Need a boost please! 😕

You can do it. Take it slow. The system works just done W8R1. Go for it and don’t over think it

Come on up and at em! You can do it !!!! The aches will go you’ll see!

Well done for starting the program.

Someone on here mentioned static stretches to me when I first started and I found they really helped.

Here’s the link.

I did W1R2 yesterday and honestly it was much easier than I had anticipated. I left 2 days between run 1 and 2 and I’m glad I did because I had aches too. I feel good today though. You can do it!! ☺️

I felt the same but you can do this ! If aches too bad maybe have extra rest day from it? I now feel fed up on non run days ! Happy running 🏃🏼‍♀️

Good luck! I found run 2 (last week) easier as I knew what to expect, and thanks to the support on here, I knew to go very slowly! I also knew that I could get through it, so I would be able to do it again.

Good luck - I've found doing a 7 minute strength training workout via YouTube prior to the run, and a 5 minute cooldown when I get in really helps me and so far I have no aches and pains! Also after my 2nd run I try to leave it 2 days before I run again. The actual run goes so quick now it's over before you know it. I am in Week 3 and am enjoying it which is almost funny because I used to hate any form of exercise :) Have a good one!

Hi Pancakes, there's nothing wrong with taking an extra rest day if you need to 😊 Might be what your body's telling you if you're achey?? As for the butterflies and feeling nervous - come on you can do this! 👊 You've already done this once! This will make you stronger, your confidence will BOOM!!!! 🤘🙌🎉

That's just your internal gremlins not wanting changes in your life that will stop them holding you back. They're going to keep coming back for a while. Just close your mind to them and get out there. You know you're going to feel better after 👍😁
