Well it rained all night and all day, my run was once again a boggy slippery mess.
I really didn’t want to go out, but my virtual running buddy sent me a nice message saying something like Go...
It rained all the time I was running, my shoes socks etc are now completely water logged, in fact I had to remove my shoes and socks before I dared enter the house. Mrs Sensible wouldn’t have been happy with a mud trail through the house.
So the day was a disaster but I enjoyed the run and the fantastic feeling of completing week 2
Roll on week 3 and hopefully with a little less mud

I agree with Floss, you will have skin as soft as an Italian baby's bottom before you hit week four if the weather keeps up Well done for getting out there, doesn't it feel good to tick 'em all off? Two weeks already, woot woot!

The lady down the lane has always thought this Englishman was a bit strange, but I confirmed her suspicions when I went squelching past her garden gate covered in mud and smiling despite the rain. 🤣
