1st 5k run done

Well this was my first run since I graduated on the 5th of April. It took me a while to get out of bed but was determined to go for a run. I put my running clothes on and headed out the door. I thought that because I was running outside I would use the c25k app just so I could have some idea how long I had been running for and to see if I could hit 5k in the 30mins. I started off fast and hit my first mile after 9.50 minutes. My body felt grate as the 2 day rest had given a tired body some time to repair it self. I hit the 2 mile point at 20.30 minutes so had loss a little speed but I put that down to a couple of small hills. I was in my last 10mins so I pick up my pace a little bit. I had already decided where i was going to finish my run. I had hit the 30min mark and was me t to be on the cool down walk BUT I was all ready a graduate so I carried on. My finish line was in sight so I pushed on. As I made it to the end I pressed finish on map my run and was amazing to see I had run 5.4k in 36 minutes. I was so glad to of had my first 5k run under my belt and this has made me want to get to 10k in the next 9 weeks. Anyway good luck and keep on running πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰
