Week 2 - Puffing Billy on a mission......

Hi fellow c25kers! I've just started week 2 (again!)..... A winter of injury, indulgence & well, pure laziness to be honest, have taken their toll! Now that it is light enough to get out before work I'm on a mission to complete c25k from start to finish, after starting & stopping over the past few months of bad weather & dark days, & fulfil my New Years resolution of running 5k.

I'm enjoying the challenge, if enjoying is the right word. I find the running ridiculously hard but love how I feel when I've done it, when the puffing & wheezing has been forgotten! That's good enough for me! My trainers aren't enjoying the muddy slippy & lake filled paths but at least I can see where I'm going now 😁

Happy running weekend to you all.

Have you tried running slower?.. it would help with the puffing/wheezing😉

It’s nit about speed, you should be able to talk/sing while running, that’s the pace the mentors say to aim for. Happy running 🏃‍♀️

Hi Liz - despite my f1 car logo there is currently no speed involved 🙁 I'm hoping that might come later......😏 There are plenty of hills though.... a feature of where I live with no hope of avoiding them - truthfully I'm just too fat & shockingly unfit! I'll use the hills as a good excuse for now though.....😆

You have my utmost respect! I have zero hills around me and I am so thankful. You are doing brilliantly, and are lapping the people still on the couch. Well done and happy running 🏃‍♀️

I too live in a very hilly area so I feel your pain, well done for getting back out there. I’m just starting week 3, I also find it hard but keep the mantra slow and steady as Oldfloss keeps reminding me in my head. Look forward to your formula run adventures
