I’m happy to report that week 1 is in the running bank!

I was looking forward to getting out and doing it, and having the session programmed into my diary helped make a mental shift from ‘having to fit it in’, to ‘it’s part of my schedule today’.

It was a mistake on my part to schedule a route that finished on an uphill stretch - but I guess that will have helped to make me stronger... 😉

Next run on Monday - I’m hoping that the weather will have improved by then...

Have a successful weekend everyone!

thats great news, well done. I live on top of a hill so inevitably when I run down it I have to run back up ..like you say may build strength ..thats what I tell myself

Hi thank you! Feel free to pinch it - I nicked it from the Zenlabs C25k FB site - I’m sure they won’t mind! 😗

The hills, the hills, the hills... Don’t they hurt a lot when you’re not used to them? My nemesis is the ‘hill that kills’ and she nearly did for me today. But her cousin ‘the divine incline’ was a little kinder for you and that’s exactly what you want in W1.

Have a fab run on Monday

Hi yes! If I’d have done the route the other way round, it would have been a different story! Maybe try that next time...
