I felt just the same - felt I needed the structure and support of someone. I’ve downloaded the podcasts featuring Laura that help you consolidate your pace after graduation and am finding them terrific. All the best with the final two weeks
Hi you will be fine and at the moment you’re still building up, so the cumulative impact of the running starts to make a difference. It may not hurt to take an extra day’s rest from time to time, to give your bod a bit of time to rest and repair.
If it helps - here are my tips for continuing the love affair with Mr Smooth (MJ). For my first week post graduation I re-ran all the W9 runs again - that helped as he was in my ear.
Then I set up 3 x reminders per week saying (and yes I am that sad!) ‘Get trainers on and run says Mr Smooth’
Thereafter I kept the reminders, tried Laura’s podcasts and from time to time went back to W9, just to hear Mr Smooth encourage me again.
You will be in the fantastic position of working out your own new running recipe.
Have fun, rest easy and enjoy your runs up to the podium
