Yesterday morning was final run of week 7 and, despite taking a few attempts to get out due to various interruptions, it was up there with best runs I've had. Extra rest day in-between helped clear up the tenderness from the physio visit and pain on inside of calf was barely noticeable when running ... So the exercises they gave me must be working 🙂 The annoying piriformis issue still there but it's a numbness rather than pain so doesn't stop me plodding along. Run finished slightly shorter than previous one but felt faster and I was a little disappointed that it had ended - good timing to go into week 8 🙂

Thanks, loving this programme (and forum). Feel like the piriformis thing is the last stumbling block and it's remaining stubborn for now but my first physio years back said wouldn't be running again, get comfortable at home and eat cake -- as nice as that sounds I'm looking forward to a few laps round the carpark outside their window when I graduate 😁
