Big girl looking to slim down

I've recently found myself gaining weight and noticing myself rapidly expanding, so in order to regain confidence I want to start on the couch to 5k for weight loss and fitness. I get out of breath coming up the stairs and I'm only 19. I wanna keep myself in check.

Hi there. I’m 50 this month and do no exercise at all. I work from home so have days when I don’t even leave the house. I’m a size 18 now but was a size 22 last year and have lost a couple of stone with slimming world. I started last Monday so have today moved on to week 2. Go for it Hun. You will be surprised what you can do. I have shocked myself with how much I have been able to do. X

Go for it, just don’t push yourself too fast. Before last week my exercise was laughing and scratching....

After my first week I already feel better

This an amazing programme, although not strictly and only a weight loss programme.

Together with the sister community weigtloss and walking active 10 communities will change your life.🤔🌟👏👏

Read the FAQ’s, essential reading.👍👏👏

Suggest you get a resting body calorie count at your local gym and it will let you understand your body and how best to programme your calorie deficit required.Only takes standing on a scale and putting in your age , height and weight in bare feet.

Maybe C25k accounts for 1000 Cals per week with your three runs , but loads of other exercise stuff you can do to build your running body , legs, lungs and running brain.

This is the best decision you can ever make for your

Health and fitness.🌟👏👏

Go for it.This forum will support you 🌟👏👏

Check this out and look also, maybe at our sister site..

Lots of the friends on this forum are on there too.

The C25K is not a weight loss programme and you may or may not lose any weight. It is not guaranteed. A healthy eating regime, linked with this will, however make you feel healthier and fitter:)

However - always remember that weight is not lost on the road , it is lost in the kitchen. It is your eating that has got you to where you are weightwise. The desire to run will help you to improve your eating habits and diet. :)
