My daughter Catherine challenged me on Christmas Day, giving me parkrun ID tokens as part of my present! I started with Laura on 8 Jan, when one minute running felt a stretch. And now, on 31 March, I've done my graduation run at Penrith parkrun and posted the most dishevelled, unglamorous photo of me grinning madly. Now I'm planning to join a local Ready2Run group. Just amazing! Thank you for this fantastic programme and all the support here. I love this community and the honest, sincere, genuine connections. Happy Easter everyone, and happy running!

Thank you Oldfloss. I'm feeling quite emotional about it all. My daughter is now heading for her first third marathon...getting into running (as we neither of us athletic types) has been really fantastic for both of us.
Ah I did my fair share of staggering, so keep going! Sheffield is my home town, not there any more...and hills are hard. Not planning on serious hills for a while. I deliberately plan nice flat runs!
