Wk3 1st run. Shocked, Surprised.

Today was my 1st run of week 3. I am shocked and surprised by the ease with which I was able to cope. I started with struggling to run for 60 seconds and then having to take multiple breaks due to injury to running 3 minutes flat and then repeating it with relative ease.

I was so excited that after the final cool down, I tried to see how far I could really run. I managed 7 minutes. I know this is not recommended, but I was feeling extremely pumped up.

I see that my heart rate is much lower than when I started out with this program. My stride is now much shorter, landing on midfoot, instead of my heel which has really helped with the shin pain and other hurts. I am really focused on duration rather than distance. Looking forward to the next run after the break.
