Week 6.....I'm officially a runner!!!

Well I forced myself to go out last night to do final run of wk 6..... Decided if I couldn't get to 25 mins without stopping, what the heck, I'll just use it as a bit of exercise and at least it'll up my steps for Cancer relief's "walk all over cancer, 10,000 steps a day!! Gosh wasn't it cold out there!!!! As usual the first 5 mins were vile, puffing and panting and thinking "you can do 20 mins, you haven't done 5 yet, don't be a wuss!" I got to 12 and a half minutes and I suddenly realized I was actually able to breath properly, yiiippppeeee, I won't die after all!!!! But then I turned the corner and had to start running into the bitter north east wind. All the time I was out I was swearing at Laura, and asking her why on earth would anybody enjoy running and what the heck am I getting out of this apart from my muscles still aching everyday whether it's a run day or rest day..... and then she said that I only had one more minute to do and if I wanted I could speed up..... Sorry Laura, it's a good job you couldn't hear my language tho'!!!! At last she told me to slow down and start walking..... Laura, I love you!!!!! I did it guys, that was the hardest, coldest run I've done so far, but if I can do that.... I reckon I can do just about anything!!! Heee, heee, onwards and upwards guys!!! xxx

Lol, it's the only way I can get round to be honest, I've spoken to "Laura" from day 1, when I couldn't breath after 60 seconds....gosh I didn't think I'd get to 25 whole minutes!!!
