Week 1 completed!

3 'runs' in 5 days - never would have believed it! Even had an apple after this morning's outing - first fruit since half-time orange segment playing school rugby back in the late 80s.

For that half hour I can't say that I feel great, but an hour and a shower later and I feel like a different bloke, just with a redder face than usual and a slightly John Wayne style walk 😳

Did you check out the post that IannodaTruffe sent you in your first post..? Loads of advice there. and with reference to eating and running..:)

Keep it slow and steady.. this is supposed to be enjoyable:)...you are going to be just fine if you take it gently... our body really lets us know when we are embarking on a different lifestyle...

I love John Wayne.. so, as he would say... sort of..

"Put on your shoes and hit the trail ":)

Fruit is your friend! Not smoothies, mind, but whole fruit 😃👍

If you overhaul your diet whilst you learn to run with C25k you won’t recognise yourself soon 😃👍💪🙂
