Buzzing to have run 20 minutes without stopping and delighted to have found this group! I am plodding along at a snails pace but determined to keep going!

Welcome Lovethemozman to the best running group ever 😁. I firmly believe my successes with running and sticking with it after graduation is because of the great people and the support they give on this forum and the sister Bridge to 10k and Marathon forums. We've got your back! Keep posting, the good and the bad, of your runs and give your support to your fellow runners when and where you are comfortable.

Snail's rock !!! I love them.. :)

Go you, just stick with it exactly as you are doing, as you move onto the lovely longer runs:)

Someone advised me to imagine a snail and then run slower than that!!!! Took the advice and it worked like a charm! Well done👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I couldn’t agree more. Slow and steady.

There's nothing wrong with snails.

If you haven't read the guide to the plan then I recommend following this link. healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Look out for your next run, it is trickier than it appears.

Just done mine today too! Can't believe I've done it and the last 5 minutes nearly didn't happen but I Shuffled on to the end. Congratulations to you 🎉

Tht's a hard run. Well done. Do read up on what to expect for W6 as it can come as a bit of surprise if you're not prepared. Thankfully I was owing to this forum otherwise I would have been wondering: "what the heck happened?!"

I've just been looking at the runs for next week (I'm on w4r2) and am now terrified at the thought of the 20 min run!!

So was I - honestly dreading it - especially after struggling really badly on W4 R3 but it was slow legs and strong mind that got me through it and it was amazing - you will ace it!! 😁
