Done it

A bit late but it’s all done

I meant to be running on Tuesday but due to circumstances ( my best friend passed away)

I didn’t feel like I can manage any run or anything last 2 days I was feeling sorry for myself

Even today I had to push myself to go out for a run, I had to text friend and tell him that I’m not motivated and he reminded me why I’m running and what is my goal

And this have made me put my running clothes on and go out for a run 🏃‍♀️

It wasn’t easy but as I was running I was saying to myself ( I’m doing this for you )

By this I mean I have decided that next year I will be doing some kind of charity run for cancer research in memory of my best friend

So yeah even when we go through though times we will to find something positive what we can do

So no more excuses

Let’s keep running for better tomorrow

Happy running everyone 🏃‍♀️

Sorry to hear your terrible news... very well done getting out there so soon and completing this milestone of a run. You now have a great new goal to train for in your friend’s memory and the money you raise will help save people somewhere down the line. Great job pushing yourself out there today.

I'm so sorry for your loss and well done as that I'm sure was really tough and a big ask .. .. and I'm sure they would be so proud of you. I hope the run also gave you some strength and comfort at this sad time. Good luck and happy running to you too 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Sorry for your loss. Running can be a really good escape from life's hard times so it's good you managed to push your feet into those trainers.

I’m so sorry about your friend, I’m sure having a friend like you who’s prepared to “get up and do something” meant a great to him/her. Well done for running. Look after yourself (not just by running, although that’s great too of course) x

Sorry for the loss of your friend. Well done for getting back out running. A charity run in their memory sounds a lovely idea to combine thinking of them and helping others while also keeping yourself healthy, good luck with everything.

I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve lost your friend. It’s a dreadful thing to go through. I’ve lost two friends in the last few years to the b......d that is cancer. Well done you getting out there to run and for deciding to something so worth while in his memory. I’ll run with you - at least virtually. But maybe not a marathon... Look after yourself. 😘😔

Running can provide a great outlet in tough times. I had a very difficult year last year and really don't know how I would have coped without running.

Look after yourself, don't push too hard. Don't worry about shedding a few tears along the way. It helps.

You have my utmost sympathy. Whilst we all must meet an end it is never easy or pain free and too many go way too soon. 😣😥

So sorry to hear about your friend. Your feelings are totally understandable and sometimes it will be hard to go out so be kind to yourself as well.

They will be with you on all your runs cheering you on and a charity run sounds like a great idea.

I would like to thank everyone who commented my post

All the comments are so kind and I really appreciate kind words in this hard time

Once again thank you and happy running 🏃‍♀️
