Managed W2R3 around the house last Tuesday. Went out for first time today because of snow and ice and I was so looking forward to it. I decided to re run week 2 and I'm glad I did because it was hard! Managed it but felt like I was literally dragging myself along at the end! Also got an ache in my right hip, grr!! Obviously my fitness has dropped in this last week so should I re run week 2 again on Wednesday?

Yep... move on. It might be hard but if you're committed, you'll get through it.

Believe in yourself, you can do it.👍😁

Definitely move on! But I cannot stress hard enough how helpful strengthening exercises can be. I suffered with aching / occasionally sore hips during C25K, so googled “hip strengthening exercises” and started doing those. Now I seem to be fine. (Fingers crossed). I think running can help us to find areas of weakness in the body. Strengthening your glutes and core can also helps to maintain pelvic stability.

I graduated in November, but it took me until Jan to realise that strengthening exercises would really help my running and iron out any niggles!
