Hi. I started Couch25k again (after a 2-3 year break) last week. Managed fine last week. This time, week 2, run 1, was a disaster! Managed the first minute and a half, then did 2-3 1 minute bursts. (On a treadmill - no-one needs to see me running, not least because I have mild cerebral palsy).
I realise I have ME but that didn't stop me completing it before. As a result, I feel upset that I couldn't even manage week 2 today.
I know to keep trying, but right now I just feel a bit like a failure.

Feel inspired they your getting up to do it! You can do it! I’ve just finished my Week 2 Run 3! Shins are a bit achey, but only in the walking sections! Good luck!
Thank you so much. I decided to go away, sort some decent music out and I tried again...and did it! I am no quitter. What I am aware is how much my daughter is like me 🙈. I am not saying I found it easy...especially that last burst, but at least I did it...on to week 2, run 2.
Last time I completed it, but very slowly in pace...I am ok with that! The thing is, I know I can do it, because I have done the C25k before. Thank you for your post though
Please remember you can repeat any of the weeks until you and your body are ready to move on , your in control and you will succeed. You have succeeded already because you back . Pace yourself . I could not run the 5K in thirty minutes , so I moved the goal post to suit me 🐾
