Week 7 run 2 part 2

Well week 7 has proved a struggle. I tried to run last Thursday but only managed 10 minutes as my legs felt like lead and I was light headed too. I was supposed to go on Sunday, but I didn’t even attempt it. So, tonight during the storm, with rain sheeting down I managed to finally finish run 2. I’m so pleased with myself. I thought I’d hit a run block, but turns out I needn’t have worried. Hurrah!

Well done on the run, and for persevering 😁

Thank you. I constantly feel I’m waging a battle against slobbing at home and going out for a run.

But I am determined to graduate so that focal point is really helping!

Well done. Onwards towards W8. Grit and determination a large part of this 😊

You are so right. Positive mental attitude is definitely the way and that can be so hard!

Fantastic! Sometimes, you just have a bad day - who cares, one bad run after 20 good runs - whoop whoop! 🥳

Aw Thanks. I got to that stage where I really wasn’t looking forward to it. But determination won over laziness in the end!

Well done.

Those symptoms could be signs of insufficient hydration.

Runners need to drink 2-3 litres each and every day, whether running or not.

You know that’s exactly what it was. I had an all day meeting at a customers site with only a sandwich and a cup of coffee drying the day. I didn’t want to eat before the run, but I should’ve at least swigged a load of water. I’ll take a water bottle next time I go on site.

Thanks for the help.
