Woke up this morning an hour before the alarm was set and had "nagging doubt" sat on my pillow trying to talk me out of my run. "You're never going to manage it!", "You'll look stupid!", "Pack it in now before you do something stupid!".

To be honest I was almost in the frame of mind to agree.

In September last year I joined Slimming World weighing in at 21s10lb. Nineteen weeks later I was 17s2lb and feeling 100% better within myself. C25K was my mechanism to help maintain weight loss and gain some much needed fitness.

Now I've never in my 46 years ever ran continuously for 20 minutes and that's why I was in two minds.

Well I only went and did it, felt pretty comfortable all the way round, didn't manage to do the whole 2 mile within the time limit, but I'd confidently put it at 1.98 I was that close!!!!

Looking back over the program I would honestly say this was probably one of my easiest weeks, so looking forward to week six.

Well done mate! Cracking pic too!

Nagging doubt needs a boot outa bed. Well done. You know for next time that what seems impossible is achievable with a bit of grit and determination.
