My trusty treadmill this am to " have a go" at r3 . I've been using it on an incline of 0.5 to try and manage a slightly more convincing performance outdoors. There I was trotting along happily, when Laura announced " well done you've done 5 min" Heeeelp but I dug in & did it! Looking forward , with some trepidation, to wk6
Well done on completing week 5. Please be aware that week 6 is much tougher than it may seem - it's probably the toughest week in the programme. The return to intervals for the first two runs of W6 may seem like a soft option - which is not the case. The secret is to keep things very slow (and even slower than that), very steady and stay calm. Try to focus on the horizon or on a landmark (such as a lamp-post) about 30 to 40 yards ahead - in this way you will complete Week 6 okay. Good luck and best wishes. Fitmo
dont you just hate Laura when she says you got ..... to go, and you thought it was loads less !!! Great you did week 5, but listen to Fitmo, week 6 is a toughie
Thank you everyone for your advice & encouragement I will wk 6 approach with great respect
