So it seems i have hurt my knee. I don’t know when or how but it’s been hurting for a week.. does anyone have any advise on how i can get this injury to get better? & quick!! Was doing so well up until now

Oldfloss, Administrator and others gave good advise to a member yesterday. knee pain exercises, etc.Atb.

Hi Smith, well done for completing week 1, and sorry to hear you have hurt your knee. If it hurts to walk on, then you must not run on it...

You can elevate and ice it ( frozen peas wrapped in a tea towel) which may help the inflammation.

Some niggles are normal when starting a new activity, however pain means sonething is wrong.

It could be a number of things, and if it doesn't start to improve you will need to get it looked at...

Here is a link to how to follow the c25k plan which includes details about wearing the correct footwear..but at Week 2 this is probably not the issue.
