Felt like a big step up but managed two 8 minute runs! Can’t believe the next one is 20mibs straight ... surely not!
Week 5 run 2: Felt like a big step up but... - Couch to 5K
Week 5 run 2
You’ve made it thus far so you can do it. Be assured that the programme knows what it’s doing. have confidence in it and your own ability
Do it nice and steady and it’s in the bag 🙂👍
It surely is. And get ready, you are going to feel SO good when you do it! This run really shows you what all the previous runs have been training you for. Trust me. In many ways, it is more of a mental challenge than a physical one, so just go out there with the attitude that you are going to do it, and take it nice and slow (pacing yourself is so key for longer stints of running), and you will be fine! Be sure to report back, okay?
Well done on getting as far as you have – and enjoy every run to come (or at least get through it and enjoy the buzz after!)
W5R3 was my favourite run of the entire programme...
Sadie-runs
Well done.
You just did 16 minute running with 5 minutes brisk walking in the middle, so the next workout is actually shorter.
Believe in yourself and the plan.
I wrote this for doubters healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Yep...and you are ready for it.. slow and steady, one foot in front of the other
Not far behind you. You are doing really well
W5R3!!!! I did it - amazed and delighted with myself. Many thanks to the programme designers ... that was a real confidence boost.
