Oh my god how much harder does 90 seconds feel ..... And.....you think 2 mins of walking oh thats ok but then its over before you know it.
I feel a little like im falling behind which i know is silly but i should have done this one yesterday but with the snow i couldnt get out and the ice today i nearly didnt get done but luckily in my last place i could go the trail was quite clear and just very watery.

You are not the only one. I completed W2R2 this morning (and it seemed much easier than W2R1). Maybe I had a bad day on Monday (for W2R1) or maybe its part of the adaptation. During my Monday run, I was convinced that there was something wrong with the podcast, and that 90 secs wasn't really 90secs (but much longer). When I got home, I actually measured the duration of the first couple of 90 sec runs (yes - they were 90 sec) and then started wondering what technology could be used so that 90 sec increased in length while running, but shrank back to a real 90 sec when stationary at home! For the v experienced perspective of somebody 1 run ahead of you - all I can say is keep going - it is better the next time
I guess because I had kinda planned my run days and due to the adverse weather I haven't been able to stick to it that's why I felt I was behind but I suppose even for those who have graduated they have to plan their runs in and we are all effected by the weather so I suppose the message really is don't get too drawn in to a routine, allow for changes, although a routine can be good it also needs flexibility to succeed.
I am weirdly looking forward to Wk2 R2 just to see if I do find it easier because although I didn't think it would be it was greatly different to Wk1.
It doesn’t matter how often you get out, just that you DO! That way you’ll keep progressing. There’s no problem if you end up taking 2 or 3 days between runs. Due to work and Home comments I can only get out twice most weeks. It doesn’t stop the feel good feeling, and it doesn’t mean you’re not progressing. You’re doing great! 🏃♀️🏃♀️
