W4R1, It was all going so well...

And then I fell!😲😲😲

I was really nervous about this run (another big jump to five mins) and so I can't tell you how fabulous I felt as I was in the last few seconds of warm down. Next thing I knew I was on the floor... Black ice that i'd not noticed.

My ankle and left side of knee bore the brunt of the impact and are sore and all I can think is... "Oh no, I break up from work today, I was going to run every other day now!"

It's all slowly seizing/stiffening up and so I can only keep my fingers crossed it will get better over the next couple of days.

I'm still elated though that I've ran for five whole minutes (twice!)🍾🍾🍾

And I'll just be sensible and listen to my body re Thursday's run.

Happy running everyone!🏃🏃🏃

Sorry to hear about that! Hope it's not too bad (ice and arnica balm?) and perhaps get an extra-rest day before your next run if you feel it's still sore. Get well soon!

So sorry to hear that. I hope that with rest and ice it will improve and you will be able to get back to running without too much of a delay. Good luck!
