W4R1 was character building!

Beautiful cool evening with slight breeze for first run of Week 4. Found the last five minute of this run really forced me to dig deep and it was only sheer bloody mindedness kept me going to the end. Although, strangely enough, when I hit the last 60 seconds of that last run, I suddenly found that I was able to run freely & easily.

I guess that overthinking is the enemy and I just need to "do it"

I cheated & missed my rest day as only way I can get 3 runs in this week so I did week 4 run 2 tonight. Realised I’m running much faster on the treadmill than in the park so slowed it down again & did it!!

That will be why I had so much trouble with week 3 then doh!!!

I fell into the same habit of trying to run as fast as I could on the treadmill... slow and steady now 😊

Well done, week 4 is tough, but so was week 3, 2, and 1! We are all doing just fine cause we are still posting. I have doubt about w5 though.

Everyone's starting to worry this W3 chappie about the impending horrors of W4 which are due to start on Saturday. Slow down, dig deep and grit it out I guess....

So far (one run to go) I’ve found week 4 easier than week 3. Not sure why - well mainly because I’ve been running too fast I think

...and believe in yourself! 😊😊

I never thought I had what it takes to do W1R1 but here I am waiting to start W4R2. Not easy but do-able x

Thank you ☺ still so surprised that I had the determination to tough it through the 5 minute runs but I did . . . Amazing what is do-able when you employ willpower 🤣
