Hi all well I did a run post graduation run to keep me going I'm hoping I begin to enjoy runs like so many of you do I think it's my breathing and stamina that puts me off so I'm going to continue till it feels comfortable then start to push distance and time maybe do a 10K programme - what are you all using to continue on - keep plodding

Most of my runs after graduation were slower than I was doing in week 9. I think when I was on c25K I couldn't shake the mentality that if it wasn't hard I wasn't doing it properly. After graduation I figured the most important thing was to enjoy the runs and that meant easing back a bit. I do still push myself every couple of weeks and my 5K PB is steadily coming down but I don't put pressure on myself to achieve particular distances or speeds. Perhaps you could try doing a slower than normal run and see if you enjoy it more.

Good plan. Just consolidate at 5k/30 minutes for a few weeks and remember that 80% of your running should be at a slow conversational pace, to help your body adapt.
Create the habit and discover a slow pace.
