Week 1 Run 1 Done - with an unexpected companion!

Well I wasn't expecting my wife to say she would come too when I announced I was doing my first C25K run tonight!

Neither of us are fit, and my wife less so for various health reasons. She is though determined if nothing else!

Very proud then that she managed the first run with me - and good to have a companion.

Run 2 is Wednesday - just waiting confirmation as whether my running buddy will be with me.

Well done on your first go out the both of you!

My wife and I are building up to our first proper week 1 run 1 on Monday - we are kind of easing ourselves into it for now but we have found it very satisfying so far - more so when we start following the programme we hope.

I hope you keep posting - we intend to and it would be great to follow your progress!

Well done.

Running with your partner is special.

Read this guide healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which should answer many questions.

Enjoy your journey.

Good start to the new year for you both - I completed my C25K just before Xmas - I'm now doing it all again with my husband - wish he had done it with me the first time round ha ha - enjoy your journey together x

Good for you both! If she doesn't want to continue then you can still do it alone. Solo running is absolutely spot on, so don't worry about it.

having a buddy is good too though and I hope your wife will carry on with you and you get can get fit together. It would be fantastic to have a joint Graduation ceremony.
