I seem to carry all my weight on my tum and bloat after lots of food

I want to lose weight and stop my tummy bloating up like a football

Have tried the Fodmap diet which is very restrictive but fed up with it all!

Any ideas?

Sometimes wheat based products can cause bloating. Bread, cake, pastry etc. Try cutting those down or even out of your diet, you’d be surprised the difference it makes to bloating. Try flat breads such as wraps or gluten free if you can’t do without a sandwich at all! Be mindful also that other products contain wheat, gravy granules, jars of cooking sauces etc. Hope this helps

I'm the same. Eating bread or cheese and BOOM. Cut those down and drink plenty of water each day and you'll feel much better quicker than you think. However when you do start feeling less bloated don't be tempted ;) .

That’s exactly the same as me! I bloat terribly. And all my weight is on my tummy. I guess it’s a food allergy maybe wheat in my case or, more likely, it’s my evening glass or two of vino. Still, I’ve lost 6kg since starting the c25k but it’s hard to tell 😂. I guess it’s a case of reducing calorie intake as well.

You’ve answered your own question

Don’t eat lots of food then your tummy won’t get bloated and swell up
