Just over a month ago I sustained a calf injury within the first 3 minutes of w9r1. It was bad enough to make me phone home for a lift as I couldn't walk. It took 12 days until I felt up to trying it again and I completed w9r1 20 days ago, albeit at a reduced speed. A couple of days after that I attempted r2, but had to give up about 12 minutes in as I could feel my calf pulling again.
Almost 3 weeks later I finally found myself in a position to try again. I thought about going back to week 7, but as I had taken a gentle jog around a local lake at the weekend following my 6 year old daughter on her bike and felt great afterwards, I decided to at least have a go at rejoining where I left off. I headed out yesterday evening at a very early 6pm (I usually don't go until at least 9.30) and completed w9r2 at last!!
This could well be graduation week. Fingers crossed!!

Oh crikey! That was really unlucky! Fingers crossed for that final run. The weather is a bit unpredictable though. Vile today 🙄. Mind you I was out in it and have to venture out again, not to run though I hope you can get a lull to give you a window of opportunity 👍🏃♂️
