Cautiously off the IC

Having not run since Christmas eve due to lower back pain my prescribed medication and a trip to the physio seem to have done the trick.

It was with some trepidation I headed out for a slow and gentle 2k run.

Thankfully everything held together ok and I felt pretty decent.

Will rest up again for a couple of days before going out again.

Just want to wish all my running family on this brilliant forum a happy and injury free 2018.

Well done, Chris! It takes a lot of courage to go back there when you've got an injury and I know about back pain... Wish you some great running for next year injury-free and with some stretching to keep your lower back muscles supple (best remedy I know with massages and swimming)!!

Thanks, I have also ordered a back support which should help.
