So I have just completed couch 2 5k for the 2nd day & I must say I've annoyed myself as I realised it's theee runs a week and it's already Sunday and I have only done 2 (I did only start yesterday tho)
I've recently moved homes from hartlepool to Shrewsbury so I'm enjoying the new scenery to look at although I do miss running next too the sea... the houses here are beautiful though.
The run went well, I skipped the intro walk as I'm already walking and skipped the end walk as I'm currently still walking and have about a mile left too go.
By the 2nd run I had a stitch but kept going and eventually it went.
Might not run tomorrow but who cares it's xmas, although after I've eaten Christmas dinner I may feel like I want to do some exercise lol!
Thanks for the motivation guys I'm loving this app

Your week doesn't have to start on a Monday or finish on a Sunday. It doesn't have to be a week long. Think of it as nine stages rather than 9 weeks. I tried to do a run every other day because I found that something always happened after three or four runs that meant I had to take 2 or 3 days off. Do what suits you best.
Douglas Bader said "Rules are for the guidance of wise men and the blind obedience of fools".
Yeah, alright I know he'd lost both legs when he said it, so wasn't much of a runner, but I think you can still apply it to to most things in life.
Hey thanks for the advice, the only reason I ran consecutively was because I didn't wanna run tomorrow (xmas) and I didn't wanna skip two days as I'd lose motivation
I know you are a trainer, but if you have not run before, or for a long time, then your musculature, however well developed, needs to get used to the impact of running and rest days from impact exercise are crucial.
Hey thank you I'll check that out, the only reason I ran two days in a row these last two days is because I didn't wanna run tomorrow (Christmas) lol so decided to get it done today
The early weeks are very easy and you will probably get away with it, but I am sure you know the importance of following plans being part of the discipline.
