Pre Christmas run

So I was determined before the festivities get into full swing to fit a run in.

After doing a long session on the exercise bike yesterday my back was a bit achey so I made sure I started off a slower than normal. Because of this I felt great at 4k so decided to continue on a circular route home.

Oh dear, uphill, wind and driving rain straight into face but as ever I had my stubborn head on and didn't want to walk home so toughed it out.

Result was a run of 6k and 45 minutes, the longest so far and I am feeling extremely chuffed.

Can I just take the opportunity to wish all you special people on this wonderful forum a happy and peaceful Christmas and thank you again for all the support and encouragement.

Slow and steady, that's a very respectable pace.

A merry Christmas to you and yours and happy running

Good run Chris, well done. I did 7k unrecorded, went out naked....no phone or Apple Watch....plotted route beforehand and did it in 50mins.

Happy Christmas to you and yours too 😊🎄🎅
