Does anybody have any things they do EVERY TIME pre or post run?
For example;
I wear the same two t-shirts in rotation (I do wash them! π)
I pour water over my head at the completion of every run! My daughter used to do this to me when she kept me company / going in the first few weeks runs. We called it the victory dance.
When I get home I get straight into a freezing stone cold bath π₯Ά it resets my mood.
What are your things you do?

Lol, you are taking running like as if it is a religion, of course football is now a religion to many, why should running not be too with those rituals you do, well done π ππΎ.
I've been wearing exactly the same kit since week 3. (Washing it afterwards every time, obviously.) The same routine drinking a small glass of water just before leaving for the run. The one time I deviated (forgot the water) I got an injury. Some people might get superstitious about that!

NOT this guy. I have never found a need to replicate the use of a particular item or a personal action or thought in hopes of having a stellar outcome to initially happen or to continue a streak.
I'm not sure it's a ritual or just a bit of OCD, but my running top must match the colour of my trainers abd my socks must match my shoes! I feel a bit edgy if they don't, now I'm away to match my running gear for tomorrow's run π
I don't really have any rituals, but I do put my running gear on half an hour before I run.
This isn't superstition, it just makes me really keen to get out there! This builds over the half hour so by the time I go I'm really looking forward to running!
Ditto, which is really frustrating at the moment. I want to get out and run again, but I'm nursing a lower leg injury. I so wanted to get out I ran on it on Monday morning but really shouldn't have.
