In the Deep mid-Winter

I know lots of you have had weather challenges recently but I can’t help wishing for Earth hard as iron and water like a stone....I am enjoying my first running Christmas and just wanted to wish my virtual running buddies warmest Seasonal Greetings. I hope 2018 has some great runs for you all 🎅🏃🏾‍♀️🏃‍♂️ 🎅

Thank you, and I hope your snow clears soon. We were snowed in again for a couple of days. Im glad ive got my dreadmill, though I hate it with a passion!

Being an urban runner (mostly) I haven't much had to deal with mud! (Well, not that thick, at least - my park gets a bit water logged at times). I miss my early morning summer runs in the park no end, when I would end up with wet feet because of dew. Sigh. I miss seeing the sun come up and the warm air. Double sigh. But spring and summer will make a return! I will run in rain and cold, but for me nothing beats early summer morning runs.
