Out on my cross country/village run this morning and saw this, it's a Maserati sports coupe, my absolute dream car! Not really running related but it's got a fair few fancy horses under that bonnet! And it can't half shift! And, I've been very, very, very, very.....(even better than that) good! π
I am a bit of a speed demon/petrol head when it comes to the combustion engine - (not running wise though π)
Mind you, given the maintenance costs - they have Ferrari engines.....it is likely to remain a very distant dream........
Never mind, it made me smile........
Happy running all, hope you're ready for your Christmas runs! ππ πββοΈππΌ

Haha Madge. The driver is obviously a visitor because those sports jobs are not up to country roads and muddy lanes! When I worked I always had a sporty number and loved them all but they are hopeless in the countryside so those days are over βΉοΈ
Anyway, these days I'd rather have new running togs π
Yeah! Me too actually, things like running shoes are much better! I don't think I'd actually like to own one, the costs are astronomical, but they're nice to look at....π......and listen to....love a proper engine noise........aahhh... memories of brands hatch standing next to the start line......bliss....
LOL Madge! Sending you a virtual Maserati as we speak. Now what colour would you like? A red one? A white one? A black one? I am convinced that you have been super good this year
Thanks Flossie, as it's got a Ferrari engine, I think it would have to be red, with a nice Italian white leather interior, mahogany dash, and a flunky to keep it polished. It wouldn't go anywhere, just sit there and be admired.....look good on me though.....π
I definitely don't need running gear. I have so much already, although perhaps a replacement pair of asics. I know I'm getting something from a running store though as Santa carelessly left a shopping bag out where I could find it.
Ha ha! I wish! He's more of an elastic bands and string old Ford man.....you know when mechanics didn't have to have a degree in electronics....and computer programming.....π
